Overview

XC/IC Requests / Attachments#

File attachments for an XC/IC request (LOA__c).

Concepts#

Two Salesforce attachment systems, one list: List XC/IC attachments merges classic Attachment records (00P... IDs) with modern ContentDocuments linked via ContentDocumentLink (069... IDs) into a single array.
Upload is raw binary, not multipart: the file's raw bytes are the request body (application/octet-stream); filename and content type go in the X-Filename/X-Content-Type headers, not form fields. New uploads always create a ContentDocument (069), even though existing legacy Attachment (00P) records may also show up when listing.
"Download" returns a URL, not a stream: the response is { "url": "..." }, a direct Salesforce link — the client fetches it separately. It accepts either a 00P (Attachment) or 069 (ContentDocument) ID.
