Files

File storage: business file repositories, event and pre-event attachments, and public assets (avatars, photos, templates, tutorials). Every file is stored in S3.

Concepts

Public paths: every path that starts with /v1/files, /v1/avatars, /v1/incidents, /v1/active_avatars, /v1/external_avatars, /v1/tutorials, /v1/extras or /v1/business-avatar is a public directory: the server does not require a session token for it. This includes downloading business files and uploading, downloading and deleting event and pre-event attachments.

Business repositories (/v1/business/{businessid}/...) require a session token and permissions.

Name collisions: business files are stored by business and name, and event/pre-event attachments only by name, so uploading a file with an existing name overwrites the stored content.

Business Files: directories and files of each business.

Event Files and Pre-Event Files: attachments of KIO Link events and pre-events.

Public Assets: avatars, photos, templates, tutorials and other public files.
