KIO Link#
KIO Link manages access to KIO sites: visits (events) to datacenters and other areas, their authorization line, the guests' QR codes and the access log at reception, business device movements, package deliveries and the (legacy) COVID access checks.Concepts#
Visit: a booking to a location (sede) and phase or room (sala) of a visit type (type, an Event Type). It has an organizer (a KIO user or a business user), guests (KIO users, business users and external users), and optionally business devices to bring in or take out.
Folio: <LOCATION>-<number>, e.g. MEX1-00123. A request spanning several days creates one visit per day.
Authorization line: the steps a visit needs, configured per event type and phase (Infrastructure / Event Types). Each authorizer profile (security, infrastructure, warehouse, finance…) authorizes or rejects; when all answered, the visit is Autorizado or Rechazado. Businesses with traffic_light get some steps automatically.
Pre-visits: when a client business requires pre-authorization, its users' requests become pre-visits until a business user with kiolink-preevent-authorize approves them.
QR codes: each guest gets a QR code (visitId|invitationId|kio|business|external, signed). Reception scans it to register entries and exits, personal devices and business device movements.
COVID checks: visits with covid require a valid questionnaire or a registered vaccination before the guest's QR is shown.
